The Residents' survey will be available for completion from Wednesday 19 May. The results of the survey will help form part of the Neighbourhood Plan for Brettenham so it is really important every household takes part.
This survey is intended to provide information about aspects of the village we want to preserve and protect as well as explore what developments might strengthen and improve life for our community in the future. As well as housing the survey covers the environment, services and communications. In usual circumstances we would have held some public meetings to find out residents' views and have some discussions, but this has not been possible due to COVID. We have therefore tried to make the survey as broad ranging as possible, and you will have plenty of opportunity to comment. So good or bad – get your point across and encourage all the members of your household to have their say.
Some question areas may not necessarily, in the event, add to the Neighbourhood Plan but have been included as they will give ideas about what community activities/services you think would improve village life. These suggestions will be considered and progressed separately.
Putting a survey together is quite difficult and the steering group is grateful to Ian Poole of Places4People for his assistance so far. Thank you also to all the steering group volunteers for getting the survey drafted and distributed. Whilst completing the survey online is the preferred option, paper copies have been hand delivered to households who prefer to hand write their answers so everyone is catered for.
The survey needs to be completed no later than Wednesday 9 June so you don't have much time. The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. So, click this link and have your say today.
