Brettenham, in Suffolk, is a small, but thriving village, with many beautiful buildings with a lot of historical interest.
Whilst the village appears to have few amenities, this doesn't hold it back, there is a great sense of community, with the Village Hall often at the heart of the many activities that take place.
Currently, our busy event schedule is suspended due to COVID. We practice social distancing when we meet in the street and on our walks around our beautiful village. We continue to look after our vulnerable members of the community.
The Runaway Bakery comes to Brettenham
As a trial, from Saturday 27th February, Abbie from the bakery will be selling a range of products - including breads, brownies, cakes and pizza boxes - from the village hall car park for 30 mins from 9.30-10.00am on Saturday mornings. This could well become a regular service should there be sufficient demand, so this is in your hands people of Brettenham! Availability will be on a first come, first served basis (i.e. no pre-orders). More info about the micro-bakery and their products is available at https://www.therunawaybakery.co.uk
Our Community Defibrillator - As you will have seen by now we have a new defibrillator which is located at the village hall. The kit is lightweight and completely portable. For more information click here
